One of the risks that comes with protesting—even peaceful protesting—is that you might end up getting arrested. Yes, the First Amendment gives us the right to peaceably assemble—but just because something is in the Bill of Rights doesn’t mean that you won’t find yourself in a situation where those rights are violated.
