This Anker Portable Power Station Is 44% Off Right Now

The Anker Solix C1000 Portable Power Station, now priced at $598.98 (down from $1,068), has a 1056Wh capacity, but how far that gets you depends on what you’re powering. For example, it can charge your phone over 90 times, but more demanding devices like an electric grill or coffee maker may only run for one to three hours. This isn't necessarily a drawback, but it's something to consider based on your needs for a portable power station.

The C1000 has 11 ports, including USB-A, USB-C, AC outlets, and a car socket to charge multiple devices or appliances at once. Additionally, this unit can also function as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and is said to have a switchover time of less than 20ms. It also charges fast—Anker claims if you activate UltraFast mode in the app and plug the unit into an AC source, it'll fully recharge in under an hour. Alternatively, if you're off-grid, Anker's solar panels (sold separately) can also power it. Plus, its IP54 water-resistant carry bag can stay on while charging, offering extra protection against the elements—ideal for rugged outdoor conditions.

While the companion app lets you customize power settings for added convenience, some users feel they come with a potential privacy tradeoff. To use the app and manage the device via wifi or Bluetooth, you have to register with Anker. For those seeking a straightforward, no-frills solution, this mandatory registration might be a drawback. Additionally, requiring an internet connection for certain functions on an emergency backup power station feels counterintuitive. Some users have also reported that the battery may not hold a charge as long as expected, which is another factor to consider. If these tradeoffs give you pause, the EcoFlow River 2 Pro, priced at $519 (down from $599), is a comparable alternative.
